Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled UI/UX Designer to join our Parsippany team. The role focuses on delivering visually engaging, functional design solutions that enhance user experience and reinforce brand identity. It combines interaction design and graphic design to create intuitive interfaces and develop creative assets for digital and print media.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes aligned with user needs and business goals, optimizing user flows for websites, mobile apps, and digital products.
- Conduct user research and usability testing, iterating on designs to improve the user experience while meeting strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, development, product) to integrate designs that align with brand vision and business goals.
- Ensure all designs stay consistent with the companyβs brand identity, including typography, color schemes, and visual style.
- Create and update design systems, style guides, and templates to ensure cohesive branding across platforms.
- Prepare designs and optimize digital assets for various devices and platforms, ensuring they meet technical requirements and performance standards.
- Test and optimize designs across devices and platforms, coordinating with developers to maintain design integrity.
- Stay current with design trends and introduce innovative approaches to enhance user experience and drive creative evolution for the brand.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders, explain design decisions, and incorporate feedback while upholding high-quality standards.
- Manage multiple design projects, balancing creativity with deadlines to deliver quality work on time.
- Perform other duties at management discretion.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator), Figma, JIRA, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong UI/UX and graphic design experience with a portfolio demonstrating both.
- Excellent visual design skills with typography, layout, and color theory expertise.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and usability testing.
- Experience creating design systems, style guides, and documentation.
- Skilled in designing web and mobile applications.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and familiarity with React component structure.
- Experience with analytics and testing tools (Hotjar, etc.).
- Strong project management abilities with the capacity to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Clear, effective communication to present and explain design concepts to stakeholders.
- Collaborative team player who is receptive to feedback and iterative design processes.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Interactive Design, Visual Arts, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years in UI/UX and graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing both.
- Experience designing for B2B or B2C SaaS software products and mobile applications.
- Experience with design systems, style guides, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS) is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Location and Work Arrangement
Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ 07054. This position is on-site in Parsippany.

Pay
Salary: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
