UI/UX Software Engineer - Figma Specialist

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a UI/UX Software Engineer - Figma Specialist to join the CommandIQ team in Colorado Springs, with remote work optional. The role emphasizes frontend development within an agile SDLC context and close collaboration across cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Translate high level roadmap features into concrete, actionable work items.
• Design, develop, integrate, and validate software features through testing.
• Conduct peer reviews, identify issues, and assist with debugging across the codebase.
• Engage in technical discussions to define and address overarching software architecture needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers to clarify project requirements and align with stakeholder needs.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience using Figma as a UI/UX design tool.
• Frontend development experience with Angular, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience or familiarity with Docker and REST APIs.
• Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• 3+ years of relevant work experience; an advanced degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• Active Secret clearance.

Compensation and Location

Location: Colorado Springs, CO with remote work option. Salary: USD 93,200 - 164,450 per year.

Work Arrangements

Part-time remote telework is available. The selected candidate will work portion of the schedule remotely and portion at a designated Lockheed Martin facility, with the weekly schedule discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule

Schedule for this position is 4x10 hour days, with 3 days off per week.

Security and Citizenship

Security clearance: Secret. This position requires US Citizenship. Active Secret Clearance is required.
