This senior graphic design leadership role directs the full cycle of visual creation for Chanel’s global campaigns and U.S. initiatives from New York City, collaborating closely with the Artistic Direction team and cross-divisional partners to deliver cohesive, high-caliber visuals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete campaign lifecycle, ensuring precise artwork and timely asset delivery across multiple House divisions.
- Translate global design concepts for the U.S. market while honoring its distinct objectives and perspectives.
- Produce final artwork mechanicals, communicate production specifications to partners, and manage color proofs, press runs, and site visits as needed.
- Adapt global designs into local print collateral such as brochures, sampling kits, scented materials, invitations, out-of-home media, and transparencies.
- Contribute to brand purpose by ideating and collaborating on Arts & Culture concepts for the U.S. market.
- Provide creative solutions aligned with key business and strategic objectives for PR events and marketing initiatives.
- Foster strong working relationships within the Artistic Direction team, across divisions and with external vendors and agencies.
- Champion creative excellence that informs daily tasks and decisions related to graphic design and the House’s visual direction.
- Design and construct high-quality hand-composed samples for concept validation using diverse materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Based in New York City with a minimum of three in-person days in the Midtown Manhattan office; additional on-site days may be required.
- At least five years of relevant experience within an in-house creative team or a creative agency.
- Some travel is required for press runs or on-site production visits.
- Expert proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
- Understanding of Figma, After Effects and SketchUp is a plus.
- Experience in the luxury sector for five or more years.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $89,000 to $110,000 per year. Base pay is one component of total compensation, with potential for additional variable pay, bonuses, benefits, and other perks.
