UX Motion Designer, Devices & Services Experience Design

As a UX Motion Designer within Amazon's Devices & Services Experience Design (DxD), you will craft motion UX for Fire TV experiences and collaborate across design, research, engineering, and product management to shape multimodal interfaces. This onsite role is based in Seattle, WA, with an annual salary range of USD 117,800 to 160,000.

Responsibilities

• Design motion UX behaviors, systems, and animations that orient users, guide interactions, and add delight.
• Develop motion studies for user flows and leadership presentations, with the ability to rapidly iterate across multiple design solutions.
• Collaborate with peer and partner designers in interaction, visual, and sound design within an open, collaborative environment.
• Contribute to the definition and communication of motion design guidelines, development best practices, and standards.
• Adapt core motion primitives to optimize experiences for existing and emerging customer modalities.
• Partner with product management to shape a shared product vision, finalize requirements, and deliver motion design that meets objectives.
• Work with software engineers to leverage platform scale while preserving core experiential principles and customer intent.
• Present work to multiple partner teams and design leadership for review and feedback.
• Contribute to the broader design community to extend motion experiences across offerings.
• Inspire other designers within the DxD studio.

Requirements

• Available online portfolio.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a motion designer or in a similar design role.
• 1+ years of professional experience as a UX motion designer.
• Experience with design tools such as Adobe After Effects, Figma and other animation prototyping tools.
