Job Description
Logic seeks a Visual Design Associate Manager for an on-site role in Arlington, VA, offering a salary range of USD 68,300 to 201,300 per year.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and shape the visual design direction on engagements from concept through delivery, ensuring quality, aesthetic cohesion, and on-schedule progress.
- Translate briefs, brand strategy, and audience insights into compelling visual executions, developing and defending an original visual point of view.
- Deliver high-quality visual design work across brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, illustration, and digital experiences with strong craft and attention to detail.
- Be hands-on and self-directed, owning your workstream, making deliberate design decisions, and producing production-ready output with minimal redirection.
- Actively incorporate AI tools in concepting, iteration, and production, contributing to the team’s evolving AI-enabled workflows.
- Engage confidently in client and stakeholder conversations, clearly communicating design rationale and growing as a trusted creative voice.
- Document and share how AI tools reshape workflow, contributing to the practice’s understanding of AI-enabled visual design.
- Support proposals and case studies by contributing project work, process documentation, and design narratives that showcase visual design capabilities.
- Stay attuned to internal and client needs, flagging potential opportunities for deeper work or expanded scope to the lead.
- Mentor junior team members informally, offering feedback, creative references, and approaches to help them develop their visual craft.
- Be an active and engaged member of the Visual Design Craft community, contributing resources and discussions to advance the discipline.
Requirements
- 5+ years of visual design experience spanning multiple industries, brand types, platforms, and contexts.
- 2+ years contributing to visual design engagements end-to-end, from creative concepting and visual strategy through to production-ready delivery.
- 2+ years delivering brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, illustration, and digital UI with a strong and developing visual voice.
- 2+ years delivering high-fidelity visual work with meticulous attention to detail, including pixel-perfect deliverables and developer-ready specs.
- 2+ years providing feedback and informal guidance to junior designers, helping others grow their craft and confidence.
- 2+ years experience working in agile and cross-functional environments, collaborating with product designers, product managers, engineers, and strategists.
- 2+ years grounding in user experience principles that inform visual decisions and express a coherent brand point of view.
- 2+ years contributing to scalable design systems that ensure visual consistency across products, platforms, and channels.
- 2+ years comfort using AI tools in the visual design practice, from concepting to rapid iteration, with openness to evolving AI-enabled workflows.
- 2+ years hands-on experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and related motion, illustration, or AI design tools.
- 2+ years strong communication skills and the ability to present design rationales and participate in creative discussions with stakeholders.
