Senior Designer

The Senior Designer will guide the interior design direction for a portfolio of luxury new construction homes at Rodak Builders, collaborating with ownership, architects, vendors, subcontractors, and construction and project management teams to ensure quality, timelines, and budgets are met. This on-site role is based in Millburn, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Lead the interior design direction and overall aesthetic for a portfolio of luxury new construction homes.
• Play a pivotal leadership role in raising the quality, consistency, and market appeal of these residences.
• Collaborate seamlessly with ownership, architects, vendors, subcontractors, and construction and project management teams.
• Balance creative vision with practical execution while adhering to timelines, budgets, and construction realities.
• Engage in hands-on leadership to create beautiful, timeless, and market-leading homes.

Requirements

• Strong eye for luxury residential design
• Deep knowledge of materials and finishes
• Ability to collaborate with ownership, architects, vendors, subcontractors, and construction and project management teams
• Balance creativity with execution while maintaining timelines, budgets, and construction realities
• Hands-on leadership capability in design and project delivery
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of luxury residential construction, finishes, and buyer expectations
• Preferred proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or presentation software, material/specification management tools, and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace

Education
