Full Time CAD Technician
Job Description
NEIS Collective is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician to join its on-site team in Evans City, Pennsylvania. This full-time role focuses on creating precise CAD drawings for education, laboratory, and healthcare interiors while collaborating with project managers, architects, and contractors. The position offers an hourly wage of $24.00 to $28.00.
Responsibilities
- Create accurate CAD drawings that support project execution from concept to completion
- Review architectural plans, specifications, and materials to prepare project submittals
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure drawings align with project scope and requirements
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from PMs and architects
- Identify discrepancies between estimates, specifications, and drawings
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to resolve design challenges
- Maintain organized drawing standards, documentation, and vendor resources
- Continuously look for ways to improve drafting processes and efficiency
- Ensure all drawings meet quality standards with minimal errors or omissions
Requirements
- Associate degree (or higher), relevant experience, or a combination of both
- Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Solid problem-solving and organizational skills
- Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
