Job Description

NEIS Collective is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician to join its on-site team in Evans City, Pennsylvania. This full-time role focuses on creating precise CAD drawings for education, laboratory, and healthcare interiors while collaborating with project managers, architects, and contractors. The position offers an hourly wage of $24.00 to $28.00.

Responsibilities

  • Create accurate CAD drawings that support project execution from concept to completion
  • Review architectural plans, specifications, and materials to prepare project submittals
  • Partner with Project Managers to ensure drawings align with project scope and requirements
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback from PMs and architects
  • Identify discrepancies between estimates, specifications, and drawings
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to resolve design challenges
  • Maintain organized drawing standards, documentation, and vendor resources
  • Continuously look for ways to improve drafting processes and efficiency
  • Ensure all drawings meet quality standards with minimal errors or omissions

Requirements

  • Associate degree (or higher), relevant experience, or a combination of both
  • Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Solid problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
