Job Description

Graphic Design Specialist focused on infographic design, data visualization, and advanced presentation design to translate complex information into on-brand, visually accessible stories for SHI International Corporation in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

Translate pre-gathered information and content into clear, compelling visual stories.
Design infographics and data visualization assets based on content and direction from project stakeholders.
Transform pre-compiled data, statistics, and messaging into visually engaging, easy-to-understand design pieces.
Apply strong visual hierarchy and layout principles to guide viewers through complex information.
Develop reusable visual frameworks and templates for recurring data-driven content needs.
Build polished, branded presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint for internal and external audiences, including leadership, sales, and marketing teams.
Elevate existing presentations in partnership with copywriters by transforming text-heavy slides into visually engaging, story-driven content.
Develop and maintain presentation templates aligned with the brand design system and accessible to non-design users.
Apply strong layout, typography, and visual communication principles to every slide.
Produce a wide range of on-brand marketing materials across digital and print formats, including social media graphics, digital ads, email banners, and templates.
Maintain brand consistency across all deliverables in alignment with established brand guidelines.
Develop and manage reusable design templates to support efficiency and scalability.
Support campaign, event, and content design initiatives as directed.
Collaborate with marketing, product marketing, and project management teams to deliver assets on time and within scope.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced in-house design environment.
Incorporate feedback efficiently and iterate quickly while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 to 5 years of graphic design experience, preferably in an in-house or agency environment.
Strong portfolio demonstrating infographic design, data visualization, and presentation design.
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Receptive to feedback and able to navigate revision cycles efficiently.
Collaborative team player with strong communication skills and experience working with marketing and project management teams.

Job Description

BDO is seeking a Visual Design Senior Specialist in Chicago, on-site, to design and produce PowerPoint-based and interactive visuals for client presentations, trainings, and events. The role can lead or support presentation projects, collaborate with Creative Services, and ensure brand identity and quality across materials.

Responsibilities

Develop PowerPoint-based visuals and interactive content for client and prospect decks, meeting support assets, internal and external training materials, reports, and related deliverables.
Edit images and create custom charts, graphs, tables, icons, and other infographics, aligning with brand guidelines and using stock assets as needed.
Draft, review, and refine engaging copy and messaging for presentations and related materials.
Lead or provide substantial support on presentation projects and internal focus areas.
Work independently and with colleagues and internal clients to establish clear creative direction and translate it into persuasive presentations, executing with confidence.
Research firm audiences and recommend appropriate structure, layout, and imagery.
Support the creation, evolution, maintenance, and modification of master PowerPoint templates and editable graphics resources for diverse needs.
Champion the BDO brand to ensure all materials reflect the firm’s messages, positioning, and visual identity.
Contribute to the development of tools and resources that communicate the corporate visual identity and presentation processes in line with global standards and best practices.
Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency by reviewing work and adhering to established brand standards and processes.
Maintain the team’s digital file management and backup practices.
Identify industry, design, and presentation trends, and continuously expand technical knowledge through workshops, publications, and professional involvement.
Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Three or more years of design or marketing and communications experience required.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint required.
Advanced experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator required.
